The Department of the Air Force (DAF) understands the value of public engagement regarding the DAF’s Sentinel weapon system replacement of the Minuteman III (MMIII) weapon system at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base (AFB), Wyoming; Malmstrom AFB, Montana; Minot AFB, North Dakota; and throughout their missile fields. 

The purpose of this website is to keep the public informed of progress on the development of a Sentinel Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS), which will be prepared, in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The Sentinel SEIS will assess changes to the proposed action that have occurred since the Sentinel design has matured after the May 2023 publication of the Record of Decision for the original Sentinel EIS.

This website will also inform the public of opportunities to provide input on the SEIS. The first opportunity to comment on this website will begin in the coming months upon publication of the Notice of Intent to prepare the SEIS. At that time, this website will be updated with information about the proposed changes to be assessed in the SEIS. The website will provide details on the timing and methods for input/comments on the scope of the SEIS.
